Large basin peatland with a well developed floating mat edge of Carex limosa and Menyanthes trifoliata. Site has a pH range of 6.08 to 6.94.
Several graminoid species form concentric rings extending out from floating mat including Eleocharis quinqueflora, Carex aquatilis, and Carex lasiocarpa.
